MARIA NILSDOTTER

I create my jewellery starting from a story, fantasy or an emotion. I would like my jewels to be looked upon as wearable art but with a humourous side, a twinkle in the eye. In my design I often add a contrasting or surprising element; I want it to be serious and playful at the same time. Handmade to the highest standard using precious metals and stones, it is important to me that each piece is timeless and made to last.

Maria Nilsdotter graduated from Central Saint Martins in BA Jewellery in 2007 her first two collections Claws & Roses and Weird & Wonderful are now followed by Dark Corners A/W 2010.
