The designer uses fashion as a medium of self-expression, often combining fashion with art; sometimes mixing them and sometimes separating them completely. Taking inspiration from various subjects, such as film, books, travels and nature. Josefin Strid’s pieces are iconic, unique, highly artistic and extremely collectable; with a very strong avant-garde yet classic touch. The handmade element is a key factor in Josefin Strid’s pieces. Production is kept as close to home as possible and sustainability is another very important aspect for the brand. The Designer and her team are constantly looking to work and produce the collections using sustainable resources and upcycling fabrics and materials where possible, whilst still keeping in line with the label’s focus on quality and its luxury look and feel.
